Last weekend’s successful visit by Gloucestershire based Pines Outdoor Club was graced with some really warm weather and very little rain during the Saturday fortunately. Our upper camping field was populated with tents of all shapes and sizes, and there was even a decent sized marquee/gazebo erected to provide an extra modicum of cover should the heavens have decided to open up on everybody! The club was alive with smiling faces as the boule pistes took a hammering and the 60′ heated outdoor pool lived up to expectations. Saturday evening was brought to life by Pine’s member Dick renowned in The Forest and on the folk circuit as a singer/songwriter and story teller. Revellers enjoyed Dick’s musings until the early hour, when finally the rain kicked in and brought an end to the outdoor proceedings.
Sunday saw the sun shine again and this gave the visitors plenty of opportunity to dry off their tents and make sure that they were packed up clean and dry for the journey home. We really enjoyed your company and would welcome you all back again whenever you fancy making that pilgrimage out of “The Forest” (but just don’t mention the bears again, ok?)
This weekend see’s the Pines Outdoor Club (Gloucestershire) visiting Diogenes. With no less than 14 guests coming on-site there’s going to be a great atmosphere around the house and grounds for sure. Diogenes welcomes visitors from other naturist clubs, be they UK based or from further afield. With a lovely camping area to relax in, Diogenes is a wonderful place to visit for a short stay. Located just on the outskirts of London, with good road and rail links, you could enjoy being clothes free after a great day’s sight seeing. With two heated swimming pools, one indoors and one outdoors, there’s never been a better time to request a trial visit or camping stopover with us. Explore our website to see what else we can offer you.
Thank you to everyone who came along to see us at the Feast of St.Peter event in Chalfont St.Peter last Saturday. We had a great day meeting so many nice folk and answering lots of questions about our club. Of course, it’s hard to make a convincing case for Naturism when it’s pouring with rain, but what makes Diogenes almost unique is that we are truly an all-year round club, with our amazing indoor pool meaning that you can enjoy Naturism even if the heavens are opening outside!
If you missed us at Feast Day, don’t despair! There’s plenty of summer left to enjoy so why not contact us for a FREE trial visit now?
