It’s the news we’ve been waiting for! Weather forecasters are predicting a lovely warm and sunny start to June, and for Naturists everywhere it signals the start of our season. While we can’t claim credit for the weather, we can help you make the most of it at our beautiful club.
Kicking off our season is our very special FREE women and families day on Saturday June 6th, which includes full use of our facilities and a range of activities for the whole family throughout the day. Places are filling up fast, so grab one while you can – we know you won’t be disappointed! Laze on our fabulous lawns, take a dip in one of our pools, maybe try your hand at Tai Chi, or relax with a sauna and a soothing mini massage – the choice is yours.
Nervous? Don’t be! Diogenes is renowned for the friendly welcome we give to visitors and we understand that social nudity can seem a scary prospect at first. There’s no pressure to undress (except for use of the pools and sauna) so why not book a place and come and see our wonderful club for yourself. Also check out our ‘new to naturism’ page which will help answer all those first time questions.
If you want to organise a FREE trial visit at another time then visit our enquiries page.
On Saturday 6 June 2015 we are holding an open day at Diogenes Sun Club which is aimed at women and young families, to encourage women to try naturism out for themselves in a trusted environment at our family-friendly club. The event is has been scheduled to coincide with the British Naturism’s ‘Women in Naturism’ weekend.
A FREE event, running from 10am to 5pm, guests will have full use of the club facilities, including the heated indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and plunge pool. You can play tennis and miniten (a form of short tennis) on one of our four courts, enjoy badminton or volleyball on the outdoor courts and there will be chance to try out petanque on one of our ten pistes.
Tai chi, yoga, healing, emotional freedom technique (EFT) and mini massages will be on offer during the day, along with a range of activities; a drama workshop for adults and children and specifically for the children, arts and crafts, cookery and swimming. Diogenes has a large outdoor children’s play area and a beautiful, refurbished children’s playroom. There’s also a games room and a TV room (but who would want to watch TV when there’s so much to do?!)
On hot days, the heated outdoor swimming pool has the greatest appeal, along with ice creams for adults and children alike. Swimming games will be organised for the children by our resident member and qualified swimming coach, who has taught many of the children at the club.
Bring a picnic for lunch which you can eat in the manor house, or within the six acres of picturesque grounds which surround Diogenes Sun Club. In the afternoon, there will be a magical Mad Hatters Tea Party… we’re full of surprises!
