Diogenes is one of the UK’s top naturist clubs and has long been a well regarded destination for the naturist holidaymaker, however those with caravans found it difficult to wend their way through leafy country lanes, and manoeuvre the turn in to the Diogenes sun club entrance. New gates, and improved access now make Diogenes a must stay for naturists.
We are ideally located in the Chalfonts and have become a magnet for naturists wanting overnight accommodation in the Chiltern Hills. Our location has great transport links to those wishing to explore London and the Home Counties via tube and Overground trains from Rickmansworth and Denham. Junction 17 of the M25 is less than two miles away. Diogenes has also proved popular with European naturists who are on their way from the Channel ports to other areas of the UK.
Facilities for overnight visitors include electric hook ups, barbecue or kitchen choice, and washrooms and showers in the mansion house that is the centre of the club. Friendly wardens and members of the club welcome guests and will proudly show them around.
Set in 6 acres of well manicured gardens and woodland, members and visitors benefit from amenities that include both indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, a sauna suite with plunge pool, tennis and miniten courts, badminton, petanque pistes and ample lawn areas to relax upon.
Children have their own large outdoor play area, and a children’s play room for the youngest. Within the house, darts, table tennis and a TV room are available. Wi-Fi is free to guests and members alike. A social calendar provides a variety of activities for members and guests to enjoy.
Many overseas visitors immerse themselves in the club spirit, as camping has been available since the club opened in 1932. Whether you are a diehard naturist or want to experience a clothing optional environment for the first time, visit Diogenes. For more information see our camping page.
