Naturists are generally happy, smiling and above all friendly people. They come from all walks of life and are of all ages. The members of Diogenes are no exception.  Come and meet them, you will get the feeling that you’ve known them for years rather than minutes.  Nakedness within our club causes no embarrassment.  We find that new members who are socially interactive soon get easily absorbed into the Diogenes way of life.  When the sun shines, there is nowhere better to be for social naturism.  Diogenes Sun Club is a family orientated environment and we will always aim to be just that.

New Membership & Trial Visit Enquiries

Please include your name, address and a suitable contact phone number (let us know what’s the best time to call too).  Also, please tell us a little about yourself and your interests and any experience of naturism to date.  Even if you are completely new to naturism, you are more than welcome to contact us, “no experience necessary”.  Our contact process for new membership & trial visit enquiries is primarily via the use of an enquiry form through email from this website.

If you want to discuss something in particular with the Membership Secretary, please submit an enquiry form detailing your wish to speak with someone in person.  If you can provide a preferred telephone number and an ideal time to be contacted, we will endeavour to phone you soonest to discuss your interest in Diogenes Sun Club.

What Does it Cost?

Membership at Diogenes for the current 2012 season is still only £150.00 per person, £300.00 per family.  Children under 18 are included on their parent’s membership card and are very welcome at Diogenes.  For the first year following acceptance for provisional membership, your fees are the full amount.  Our membership season runs through till March, and renewal is offered through April for the coming season.

So, assuming you are offered provisional membership in September, your first year will run through till the following September, whereupon, having been accepted as a full member, you will then receive an interim invoice for the remaining period up until March.  There are no other fees to mention, other than a £10.00 per person joining fee, which is a once off cost to cover joining our club, but this is only billed after your first year’s probationary keyholdership, and even then, that’s only after you have been accepted as a full member.

Young adults are charged 50% of the full membership fee between the ages of 18 – 24.

Any visits you make to the club during our signing up process are charged at £5.00 per person per visit, but these costs are deducted from your first year’s fees once you have been accepted as a Keyholder (so it costs you nothing extra to explore joining Diogenes!)

Availability of Membership

Demand for membership at Diogenes is generally high, and in the first instance it is always worth emailing us with an enquiry form.  On average we process two to three enquiries a week (especially during the busier summer months).  We always look to respond to membership enquiries in a timely fashion, so if we do have memberships available, we can let you know soonest.

Diogenes Sun Club is first and foremost a family orientated club with member’s interests and well being at heart.  We welcome applications from all circles and in particular, younger families with children.  There are still family membership spaces available for this season (7/02/2012).  Requests from individuals are still being invited, although the relatively high number of requests versus available memberships often means we are unable to accommodate everybody straight away.  However it does not hurt your chances to submit an enquiry form, and the membership situation is a fluid dynamic that changes regularly. * UPDATE * Following the recent British Naturism GBSD event weekends and promotional advertising, we now have many live applications for membership of our club. Diogenes is a true member’s club and welcomes genuine naturists who can add to our vibrant atmosphere.

Remember, it costs nothing to explore what Diogenes club life is like, so why not give it a go?  After all, you’ve nothing to lose except your clothes!
