Sport and Wellbeing

Enjoy our high quality sporting facilities – keep active in great company, no sports kit required!

Boules (or Petanque)

Deciding who’s closest to the jack …

We have ten boules pistes for playing this most sociable of games.  There are several informal tournaments throughout the year, along with our major ‘boule open’ tournament each year, in 2018 it will be held in July.  Boule (petanque) is a great way to get to know people and there are always experienced members who can show you how to play if you are new to the game.  You can even borrow boules to get you started!

Miniten

Miniten is game that is virtually unique to naturism.  It is a version of tennis, played on a short court using a wooden ‘bat’ known as a ‘thug’.  Diogenes has four top quality courts (one of which is also marked out for tennis) and there are many members who enjoy this very active game.

We also have facilities for badminton and volleyball.

Yoga

Our ‘yogi bares’ group currently meets once a week for clothing optional Hatha Yoga sessions with a fabulous local teacher.  These popular sessions are held in our indoor pool area if it is cooler, but on sunny days they are held outside.  Naked yoga is an amazing experience and is perfect for wellbeing.
