Six acres of paradise! Choose from wide lawns or secluded spots, formally maintained or natural – there’s space for all!
Our main lawn is a perfect sun trap and is the perfect place to socialise on warm days. There are shaded areas round the edge, and also more secluded areas of the grounds where you can enjoy some quiet relaxation.
The grounds are populated with many lovely trees, shrubs and flower 
beds, all lovingly maintained and making for a truly beautiful environment. Our communal barbecue area and our new camp fire circle (affectionately known as ‘Smokey Hollow’) are perfect for socialising with friends.
As with everything else at Diogenes, members take great pride in the grounds and the various plots are lovingly tended by people who ‘adopt’ them. Other areas are left more natural, for example the wonderful dell at the bottom of the site, where ferns and wild plants are encouraged.
We also have a super pond, which is an idyllic and tranquil spot for quiet reflection.
The grounds also house our superb range of camping and caravanning pitches, many with hook ups.
